Robert Taylor
This exhibition features the works of Robert Taylor; a distinguished
and renowned British artist whose work adorns the homes of aviation enthusiasts
throughout the world.
Robert Taylor has been a prolific sketcher and painter ever
since he was a small boy. Many recognize him as the world's leading aviation
artist
and international demand for his original canvases and his limited edition
prints is unsurpassed. His work has been featured many times as the subject
of television programs, newspaper and magazine articles.
Today the genius of Robert Taylor is recognized all over the world,
and his art is the benchmark by which all others in this established
field
set their standards.
We have amassed a sizeable collection of Taylor prints, many of which
have been signed by famous pilots like Canada’s own Johnnie Johnson.
Mr. William Fulford, of London, Ontario, donated the majority of these
limited edition prints. The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum has loaned
one print for this exhibition. We don’t want to say too much about
the specific selections we are presenting (although one does feature
Bishop and his “Flying Foxes”), you will just have to visit
the museum to experience this rare treat!
