For Honour and Glory:
Billy Bishop and the Canadian Aces of WWI

Opened on June 5, 2004, the exhibit, “For Honour and Glory: Billy Bishop and the Canadian Aces of WWI”, provides a timeline of key events in Bishop's experience during WWI, and of Canada's role. The names and some biographical information about each of the recognized Canadian Aces are on display. Visitors will be able to learn about Aces, Flight technology, and flight training. Models by Cecil Wood (SE5a), Bill Logan (FE2b), Harold Cotton (SE5a) are featured along with Air Force uniforms. The museum is displaying newly acquired personal items of Billy's and many images relevant to WWI. Robert Taylor's "Dawn Patrol" features Billy Bishop in his SE5A, accompanied by two wingmen on dawn patrol in the spring of 1917. A display on the three Canadian pilots who won the Victoria Cross is also highlighted in this exhibit.
